I am feeling inspired getting organized for the new school year. There are many opportunities to teach Catholic values through existing Math and Art processes. Both inspire aesthetic forms and composition, providing ways to express and communicate intellectually.
Welcome to my classroom and a year of arousing attention and interest in the world of Math and Art. Increasing, numbers of students need to be able to think for themselves in a constantly changing environment, particularly as technology and information is easier to access.
Math is concrete and affected by the right side of the brain. Art is open to interpretation and opinion on the left side. Both sides are creative. Whether it be making an equation to solve a problem, or processing a piece of art, they both follow a pattern of review and proof. Welcome back students and parents to a great learning experience at SIS!!
